A fall inspired recipe to put a little fun and extra deliciousness in your afternoon coffee. Perfect when you bundle up at home and get cozy. We made this coffee with our Goût Robuste which adds a wonderful rich maple flavor and a warm caramel note. You will be surprised how perfectly this maple syrup pairs with the chestnut cream.
Ingredients
1 espresso shot
1 tbsp happy maple Goût Robuste
2 tbsp chestnut cream
200ml milk of choice
meringue cookies for topping
How to
Mix the chestnut cream and happy maple syrup in a tall glass with a spoon so it is well combined.
Heat up your milk and foam it up. If you don't have a frother, you can easily do this with a whisk or pour it into a jar and shake it for half a minute.
Pour the milk slowly into the glass with the chestnut maple mix so the cream stays on the bottom of the glass and doesn't combine with the milk.
Cook a shot of espresso. Pour the shot carefully into the glass.
Garnish with crumbled up meringue cookies and some maple syrup.
