This quick and easy recipe is a delicious snack but also a great appetizer. Our happy maple syrup caramelizes the onions perfectly and the created sweetness gives this dish a wonderful twist. Try it with your favorite hummus but any other veggie spread will do too. You will see: every last bite of this bread is so good.

happy maple Goût Robuste
yellow onions
mushrooms
bread slices
olive oil
parsley and black sesame to garnish
How to
Slice the mushrooms and onions.
Saute the onions in a non stick pan with olive oil.
Add some happy maple Goût Robuste and stir-fry until translucent.
Then add the mushrooms and stir-fry again until soft.
Season with salt.
Drizzle slices of bread with olive oil and toast briefly on both sides in a pan until golden brown.
Spread hummus on the bread slices and top with the onion-mushroom mixture.
Garnish with chopped parsley and black sesame seeds.
