Mini maple plum tarts

Delicious mini maple plum tarts that are super simple to make together with your mini chef. A fun activity to include and educate your kid in the kitchen. Delicious for breakfast, dessert, or as a sweet treat for the in between, you can easily use other fruits instead of plums – peaches, nectarines, figs, apples, pears, or berries would be delicious alternatives!

  2. Add the quark, water and vinegar, and mix quickly to create a soft dough – do not knead.

  3. Divide the dough into 4 portions, on a surface lightly dusted with flour shape into rolls each approx. 18 cm diameter and transfer to two oven trays lined with baking paper.

  4. Cut the plums into wedges and add the happy maple syrup to give a nice caramel flavour.

  11. Dust the tarts with icing sugar and enjoy!

  12. Tip: It's delicious when served with vanilla ice cream ☺️
